Residential Infill Builders and Development Teams RFQ
SSLBDA is seeking builders and development partners for new construction residential infill projects across the south suburbs. The RFQ is intended to identify qualified firms and better understand current construction costs, timelines, and capacity in the market. Responses will help inform future development opportunities. Initial responses are encouraged within three weeks of this RFQ release, though submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis. A link to the application form is included within the RFQ document.
Property Preservation & Maintenance Services RFQ
SSLBDA is looking for reliable contractors to support property preservation efforts across our residential portfolio in the Southland and surrounding areas, including Joliet. Work may include securing properties, clean-outs, lawn care, inspections, and general maintenance services. This is an ongoing opportunity, and submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis. Real Estate Services
The SSLBDA is seeking locally based, Illinois-licensed real estate brokers to join its Real Estate Broker Pool and support the marketing and sale of vacant and distressed properties across 26+ south suburban municipalities. We are building a pool of qualified brokers for ongoing listing opportunities. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, with June 2, 2026, as the initial review deadline. Rehabilitation Contractor Pool RFQ
SSLBDA is seeking general contractors and skilled trades to join its Rehabilitation Contractor Pool. Contractors may be invited to bid on projects involving developer-ready stabilization work and full rehabilitation of single-family homes across south suburban Cook County. This RFQ will establish a pool of qualified contractors for future opportunities. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis, and placement in the pool does not guarantee work.
