Julian Archuleta

Graduate Intern

Julian has a background in Urban Planning, Economic Development, Land Use Policy, and Spatial Analysis. He is passionate about using spatial intelligence to return vacant properties to productive use, revitalize disinvested neighborhoods, expand affordable

housing opportunities, and drive local economic growth. Julian particularly enjoys using ArcGIS to turn complex spatial data into actionable maps. Prior to joining South Suburban Land Bank in 2026, Julian worked for Home Partners of America, where he analyzed property maintenance metrics and coordinated work with maintenance vendors. Julian currently serves as a Graduate Associate. Julian holds a BA in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago and will graduate with a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois Chicago in May.
